Two research projects, two tools people use daily, and the hackathon where most of us met.

The Tree-MLP encodes a character's component tree and its output is fused into the standard BERT embedding before the unchanged transformer backbone.

CNM-BERT

ResearchUnder review2026

BERT treats 樹 as an arbitrary ID and throws away the components a reader sees instantly. CNM-BERT feeds that structure back in and lifts out-of-vocabulary accuracy by 9.8 F1 for about 5% more training time.

What makes it credible

80 H100s, pointed at students

A training run that would take three weeks on a laptop finishes here overnight. That single fact decides which ideas a student can actually test, and it is why our members co-author papers instead of reading them.

Access is tiered and every job is logged. The CTO signs off on allocations under our compute policy, so a first-year member and a research lead get different quotas and both know why.
